This exhibition gives an account of the life and works of the famous Czech composer Bedřich Smetana (1824 – 1884) in an appealing manner. His manuscripts, period, pictorial and written materials as well as personal objects are to be seen here. Original opera costumes are exhibited but there is also the opportunity to listen to some of his most famous pieces using a special laser baton next to the music racks.
