Exhibition: Christmas at the Bethlehem Chapel - 30th Christmas exhibit focused on wooden objects and tools, the original material used by humans. The exhibition aims to show how our predecessors depended on the use of wood in their daily lives. Also on display: new nativity scenes from leading Czech wood carvers. Exhibition: From Christmas to Christmas. Exhibition showcasing a selection of commercially made Christmas items and historic toys from the 30-year collection of Eva and Ivan Steiger. A beautifully designed exhibition introducing the lesser-known history of Christmas gifts for children. The exhibition also presents the almost 600-year old story of the Christmas tree tradition, history of Advent and the now forgotten traditions. On display: gorgeous Christmas pyramids, nut crackers, wreaths, stars and carillon, unique wooden, pewter, metal, wax, paper, glass and dough ornaments, dozens of lovely toys.
